Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Please read these terms carefully. They explain what Agent Dock does, what you're responsible for when you use it with your AI agents, and the limits of our responsibility.

1. About these terms

  1. These terms are an agreement between you and us, the makers of Agent Dock ("Agent Dock", "we", "us"). They cover the Agent Dock app for Mac and this website (together, the "Service").
  2. By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
  3. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. What Agent Dock does

  1. Agent Dock shows the AI coding agents you run (such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini) on one edge of your screen, and lets you read their conversations, reply to them, answer their questions and permission prompts, send them commands and attachments, and stop them.
  2. Agent Dock doesn't run AI models itself. Your agents run in your own terminals and tools, using your own accounts with their providers.
  3. Agent Dock is in beta. Features may change, appear or go away, and things may sometimes break. Keep backups of your work and review what your agents change.

3. Your licence to use the app

  1. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Agent Dock on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial work.
  2. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app; copy or modify it, except as the law allows; reverse engineer it to build a competing product; or remove any notices from it.
  3. We and our licensors keep all rights in the Service that these terms don't expressly give you.

4. Your account

  1. You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that account secure; you're responsible for what happens in Agent Dock under your account.
  2. You must be at least 16 to create an account.
  3. You can stop using your account at any time, and ask us to delete it. How we handle your account data is in our Privacy Policy.

5. What you approve is your responsibility

  1. When you answer a question, approve a permission prompt, send a message or press Stop in Agent Dock, it passes that to your agent, just as if you'd typed it in the agent's own terminal.
  2. Your agents act on your behalf, with your files, accounts and permissions. You are responsible for what you ask them to do and for every action you approve, including commands they run, files they change or delete, code they push and messages they send.
  3. Options like "Yes, don't ask again" change your agent's own settings. Check what you're allowing before you allow it.

6. Acceptable use

  1. Don't use the Service to break the law or anyone's rights, or to access computers, accounts or data you don't have permission to use.
  2. Don't use the Service to get around the limits, safety features or terms of any AI provider or other service.
  3. Don't interfere with the Service, or try to get around any limits we put on it.

7. Other companies' tools and agents

  1. Agent Dock works with tools made by other companies, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Herdr, Ghostty and Terminal. Those tools, and the AI providers behind them, are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which you're responsible for following.
  2. Your use of those providers, including any usage limits and charges, is between you and them. Agent Dock may show your plan usage, but doesn't control or pay for it.
  3. Agent Dock isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or any other provider. Their names are used only to describe what Agent Dock works with.

8. Your content

  1. Your prompts, conversations, files, code and anything your agents produce belong to you (as between you and us). Agent Dock reads them on your Mac to show them to you and doesn't claim any rights in them.
  2. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

9. Price

  1. Agent Dock is free while in beta.
  2. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price and terms before you're asked to pay, and you can choose whether to buy.

10. Updates and changes

  1. We may update, change or stop parts of the Service at any time. Updates may be needed to keep using it.
  2. We may change these terms. If a change is significant, we'll update the date at the top and say so on this site or in the app. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Ending your use

  1. You can stop using Agent Dock at any time by quitting it and moving it to the Bin. Turning off its permission answering in Settings removes the hook it adds to Claude Code.
  2. We may suspend or end your right to use the Service if you break these terms, or if we stop offering it.

12. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that it will show your agents' state accurately at every moment, or that it will suit your purpose.

13. Our liability

  1. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
  2. Subject to that, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, code, work, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service or of your agents.
  3. Subject to that, our total liability to you for anything relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim and £50.

14. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the Service or your agents, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

15. Governing law and disputes

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the law where you live gives you.
  2. If something goes wrong, please message us on X first. Most problems are quicker to fix that way.

16. General

  1. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  2. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
  3. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example if Agent Dock is sold.
